About Body By Kara...
I am Kara Stevens or some know me as Body by Kara. I am a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and wellness coach. I own The Studio in Ucluelet, BC. I was born and raised on the west coast in the beautiful Ucluelet. I love the outdoors and have always had an active lifestyle. Once I realized my passion for health and wellness as a career, I set off to Victoria to study personal training with Body Blueprint Fitness. I have been training in Ucluelet for 5 years and I love sharing my passion with the amazing little community Ukee has to offer.
Over the last few years I have become extremely passionate about understanding how the human body works. I believe health and wellness needs to take a holistic approach, as all parts of the body and wellbeing are connected. Nutrition, exercise, flexibility, spirituality and overall health are all important aspects of the body. I love learning and have continued to expand my education with workshops, certifications and courses in nutrition, coaching, spin, boxing, barre, balance and resistance training to name a few. I use this knowledge to make personalized programs for my varied clients.
I believe in a balanced and maintainable lifestyle choices opposed to quick fixes and diets. My focus is to help all of my clients create a routine and lifestyle change. It is about creating the best version of yourself by balancing your daily life and optimizing your health. I am ready to help my clients find and reach their personal goals and motivate them every step of the way. The focus of my programs is to make lifestyle changes that will be achievable and long lasting.
My ultimate goal is to help you learn how to balance all areas of your life. Not only will you learn how to exercise safely, eat well, love yourself, feel better and wake up every day motivated but you will have fun doing it.
I understand the challenges that people face prior to beginning a fitness or wellness program because I have been there before. It takes commitment but the benefits are worth it. Whether you want to lose weight, get toned, eat better, stretch, exercise with your baby, love your life, learn new exercises or run your first marathon, I will help you reach your goal. I am trained to develop a program that is designed for your specific goals and body. I have teamed up with a nutritionist to bring you well balanced meal planning that tastes delicious and are easy to create. These meal plans are offered in 1, 3 , or 6 week plans.

How long is a session? 30 min to 1 hour sessions.
Where? Anywhere that works for you; your home/outside/BBK Studio or Fitness Centre.
When? Morning, mid day or evening (whatever works best for you). I just take weekends off!
What to bring? Comfy clothes, running shoes and water.
